Job openings dipped 0.9 percent in August, larger declines in both hires and separations
The number of job openings dipped 0.9 percent from July to 6.1 million on the last business day of August
Over the month, hires and separations fell by 1.6 and 2.5 percent to 5.4 million and 5.2 million, respectively.
