Newport Beach, Calif., (September 10, 2024) – Trumark Homes, the award-winning Western U.S. homebuilder, announced today that it has closed escrow on 153 lots in Canyon Ranch, spanning both Loma Linda and Redlands. The community will include 116 estate lots of more than 20,000 square feet each. Groundbreaking is anticipated in late 2024.
“This area of the Inland Empire is a highly desirable location with a rather limited inventory of new housing so there is strong demand from people working in and around Loma Linda and Redlands,” said Richard Douglass, Southern California Division President at Trumark Homes. “Our vibrant neighborhoods at Canyon Ranch will be centered around signature homes and modern amenities for homebuyers looking to plant their roots in this community, with the added benefit of reducing their commute time and increasing their quality of life.”
Trumark Homes at Canyon Ranch will be located south of Barton Road and west of San Timoteo Canyon Road. The community includes two neighborhoods totaling 153 single-family homes, ranging from approximately 2,100 square feet to 4,000 square feet. One neighborhood will include 37 homes on lots with a minimum size of 7,200 square feet, while the second will hold 116 homes on lots of 20,000 square feet or more. This is the largest acquisition of estate lots by any homebuilder in the East Valley in more than a decade.
“The expansive estate lots of Canyon Ranch provide a distinct opportunity to develop premium outdoor spaces, including pools and backyard amenities, while ensuring privacy for residents,” added Douglass.
The convenient proximity to the 10 freeway provides direct access across the southland, from the mountains to the desert to the Southern California coastline.
Loma Linda and Redlands enjoy an ideal combination of world-class health care and education with a suburban lifestyle and abundant outdoor recreational options, including San Timoteo Nature Sanctuary and Hulda Crooks Park’s numerous nature trails.
Canyon Ranch is part of the Redlands Unified School District which ranks in the top 20% of districts in the state, and University of Redlands is ranked #7 out of 120 Regional Universities in the West by U.S. News & World Report. Nearby Loma Linda University Medical Center was ranked the #1 hospital in the Riverside-San Bernardino Metro Area for 2024-2025 by U.S. News & World Report, while Loma Linda University offers eight schools across healthcare disciplines such as Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing and Public Health.
“Trumark Homes is known for pursuing unique pieces of land, and Canyon Ranch is no exception,” added Douglass. “We embraced this opportunity to create exceptional single-family homes on oversized lots in two Inland Empire cities where people love to live and look forward to breaking ground next year.”
Other Trumark Homes communities currently selling homes in Southern California include Willow at Rienda in Rancho Mission Viejo; Saddleback Place in Mission Viejo; Shady View in Chino Hills; Vistas at Mockingbird Canyon in Riverside; Covina Bowl and Zest in Covina; Sonora Hills in Escondido; and Melrose Heights in Oceanside.
