The company has just opened a satellite office in metro Nashville, supporting the development of numerous soon-to-be-announced, new rental communities in the state of Tennessee and within additional southeastern territories. AHV Communities has hired leading homebuilding expert William R. (“Will”) Coles Jr. as regional president of the Southeast, overseeing the new office and regional operations.

AHV’s expanded operations in Nashville follow numerous planned regional land acquisitions for sites of future ground up luxury rental community developments. The new AHV Master Planned Rental Communities™ will help address considerable demand for quality rental options in the burgeoning region, which is currently experiencing a rapid explosion in both population and employment opportunities.
As regional president of the Southeast, Will Coles is charged with leading all company activity, which encompasses acquisition, development and community operations in Nashville, Tennessee and Huntsville, Alabama. He will also oversee AHV’s planned future expansion across new territories within the Southeast region.
Bringing a wealth of residential real estate and homebuilding experience to his role with AHV, Will Coles most recently served PulteGroup, Inc. (NYSE: PHM, Pulte, Centex, and Del Webb), one of the nation’s largest homebuilders, as president of its Tennessee division where he was responsible for growth of the division from 200 to 500 new homes in 2021. In this role, he managed a team of 85 full-time employees, completed a strategic restructuring, and was integral to the builder’s Tennessee division being recognized as a “Best Place to Work” by both the Nashville Business Journal and the Tennessean. He also held positions as vice president of operations for PulteGroup Tennessee, vice president of land acquisition for PulteGroup Charlotte and Tennessee, and director of land acquisition for PulteGroup Charlotte.
Prior to his tenure with PulteGroup, Will Coles spent eleven years with NVR in various roles including land acquisition manager, project manager and building supervisor. Coles graduated from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and is a licensed real estate broker in Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
