Ashton Woods Boasts Efficiency and Class

Ashton Woods is an award-winning national homebuilder with over 25 years of industry experience and has operations in Atlanta, Austin, Charleston, Dallas, Houston, Killeen/Ft. “One of the most exciting things for me is… how a room or home takes on a life of its own, evolving into something you never imagined,” Vice President of Architecture Jay Kallos said. With the importance of sleep becoming a mainstream concern this year, designers put a focus on the master bedroom suites in the homes. The space is adequate to unwind and relax with a soaker garden tub, separate shower with shower seat and tile up to the ceiling, spacious walk-in closets with built-in wood shelving, and 3-way mirror.

In the rest of the home, features like smooth finish ceilings; trey ceilings in master bedroom and dining room; upgraded Cashmere interior paint; architectural detailing with columns, arches and niches; and Shaw prefinished level two wood floors bring the interior of the homes to life.

In 2015, there will be a higher demand for more open spaces in homes—kitchens and dining rooms all in the same space, and living rooms opening up to the yard. “[People] need a space to extend the indoors into their backyards, from outdoor cooking areas to fireplaces to pools,” Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Atlanta division, Michael Malloy said. “One of the biggest trends we’ve seen over the past few years is increased attention to outdoor spaces.”

Brick or natural flagstone patios, outdoor fireplace and grill in the backyard continue the interior appeal into the backyard. The homes in Heritage at Crabapple exude class and trending styles in exterior design, as well with features like decorative garage doors; the architectural detail on the front, sides, and rear of the homes; Kwikset satin nickel Camelot handle sets; and front porches capped with painted wood.

“Heritage at Crabapple stands out with its stunning homes, perfectly landscaped lawns, picturesque streetscapes, private parks, walking trails, and pool and cabana,” Malloy said. “Inspiration was pulled from the city of Crabapple itself, one of the oldest parts of Fulton County, Ga.”

The Callaway is one of the larger models in the community and is priced at roughly $850,000 with 4,200 square feet, six bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, and an extended third car garage. Interior highlights include designer cabinets, stone countertops, KitchenAid stainless steel appliances, deco tile, hardwood floors, a spacious master suite with freestanding tub; and a finished basement with media room, game room, bonus room, bedroom, and bathroom.

Last month, Ashton Woods announced that it has launched pre-sales activity in another beautiful community called Naples Reserve, a 688-acre lakefront community in Naples, Fl. Homes will be offered in the Mallard Point, Egret Landing, Savannah Lakes, and Sparrow Cay neighborhoods of Naples Reserve. These one- and two-story Southern Coastal homes will showcase elevations with Key West, Charleston, and Nantucket elevations, priced from the mid- $300s to low-$600s. The first model is planned to open this month.

All Ashton Woods homeowners receive a comprehensive Homeowner’s Guide, and a one-, two-, and ten-year warranty that is transferable with the sale of the home. This warranty covers one year for workmanship and materials, two years for the delivery portion of utilities, and ten years for major structural components of the home.

For the second consecutive year, Ashton Woods has been named the Most Trusted Builder in America, according to the Lifestory Research Most Trusted Builders in America Study SM, which tracked 133 homebuilder brands in the top 27 U.S. housing markets. “At Ashton Woods, trust is a badge of honor that we earn through a committed relationship with our customers,” CEO Ken Balogh said.

Ashton Woods Homes also won 12 awards at the Greater Houston Builders Association’s Houston’s Best PRISM gala, including the Grand Award for Volume Builder of the Year and hopes to win additional awards for the Atlanta division.
