Five remarkable industry leaders will be inducted into the 2018 homebuilding Hall of Fame, presented by the California Homebuilding Foundation (CHF)

by Allison Paul

Being inducted into the Hall of Fame is the industry’s most coveted award, recognizing individuals who have contributed the most to the overall wellbeing of the homebuilding industry with an annual black-tie dinner and formal induction ceremony, as well as an audio/visual presentation of the honorees’ personal and professional lives.

The 34th class of Hall of Fame honorees includes: David P. Carlson of Carlson, Barbee & Gibson, Inc.; F. Scott Jackson of Jackson Tidus; Larry D. Kelley of LDK Ventures, Downtown Railyard Venture, Stanford Ranch and McClellan Business Park; Michael P. Neal of H.G. Fenton Company; and Anthony F. Souza of Souza Realty & Development, Inc.

“Inductees into the homebuilding Hall of Fame are designated by a selection committee of their peers for their dedication to the industry, both professionally and philanthropically,” says John Morton, California Homebuilding Foundation Board Chair and Superintendent for D.R. Horton in Irvine, CA.

“Each of this year’s five inductees are pillars in their communities for supporting homebuilding activity statewide, and are very deserving of this prestigious award,” continues Morton. “Hall of Fame is one of my favorite industry events of the year, and I look forward to celebrating the gala’s 34th anniversary with this esteemed group of accomplished individuals.”

The Hall of Fame draws a large crowd of recognizable industry names from the fields of homebuilding, construction, architecture, engineering, design, and law, all gathered to support the current honorees, and to reconnect with old friends and colleagues.

The Foundation also awards academic scholarships during Hall of Fame, where student recipients are recognized for their achievements with the opportunity to network with affluent and influential members of the industry.

Join the Foundation in celebrating the Hall of Fame, Class of 2018, on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the Westin St. Francis on Union Square hotel in San Francisco.
