Contractors Find New Ways to Cope With Elevated Lumber Prices

After dealing with rising lumber prices and reaching an all time high in May, contractors are finally seeing prices dropping, down 30% since May. Although still higher than normal, it is becoming more manageable.

In an article by Construction Dive, Vice President of Cumming Management Group, Daniel Pomfrett said, “The supply chains, in actually getting that raw material, that’s really where we’ve seen that sort of pressure that’s being built up and so, as that pressure is being released, what we’re seeing is that the prices are coming down.”
