Move over modern farmhouse, there’s a new trend sweeping through homes everywhere. A survey by Redecor reveals that 78% of 7,300 respondents prioritize aesthetics when selecting pet accessories, influencing their home decor decisions. This trend, dubbed “pet-sthetics,” is significantly shaping contemporary decorating styles.

According to Domino, in the past, we’ve seen dog washing stations as extensions of mudrooms and laundry rooms, and designer Shavonda Gardner even installed a shelf with cutouts to fit her pup’s water and food bowls. But it seems like nowadays, people are looking for noncustom ways to add furniture that doesn’t necessarily look like it belongs to a pet.

We can think of lots of great examples, from litter box enclosures that look just as stylish as anything else in your living room to even a faux leather hamster sofa, designed by Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent.

But because people with furry friends are looking for stylish pet accoutrements, that doesn’t always mean they’re ready to shell out. Eighty-five percent of people surveyed said they won’t spend more than $100 on such pieces. Here, we’ve rounded up our favorite stylish pet finds that are less than a hundred bucks.
