Award-winning amenities create a vibrant social life in neighborhoods set amidst a historic ranch featuring thousands of acres of the permanently protected open space of The Nature Reserve at Rancho Mission Viejo.

As an intergenerational community, The Ranch offers shared spaces for enjoyment by residents of all ages and a full calendar of special events and activities including community-wide celebrations, cultural enrichment activities, fitness classes, happy hours, receptions and 70 resident-led clubs. Social programming is coordinated by RanchLife, The Ranch’s lifestyle and programming element.
The Village of Rienda is located less than five miles from downtown San Juan Capistrano and a fifteen-minute drive from San Clemente and Doheny State Beach, with easy access provided to the employment and retail centers of Ladera Ranch, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Irvine, and other Orange County areas.

The first phase of the Village of Rienda, which consists of 671 homes in seven neighborhoods, is nearly 50% sold out since first opening for sale in April 2022.
“Buyers recognize that The Ranch is more than just a place to live. It’s a place to connect, grow and enrich one another’s lives. Recognized as one of the top-selling master planned communities in the region, we believe we have built something special here. There is something for everyone on The Ranch and that is what sets us apart,” added Walker.
At completion, Rancho Mission Viejo will encompass approximately 6,000 acres, or 25%, of the 23,000-acre Rancho Mission Viejo, a historic ranch in Orange County, which has been held in the O’Neill/Moiso/Avery family since 1882.
About 17,000 acres, or 75%, of The Ranch will be preserved for the large habitat conservation area known as The Nature Reserve at Rancho Mission Viejo, along with ranching and farming.
