Advantages and Disadvantages to Biden’s Affordable Housing Revisions
House Democrats continue working to draft $3.5 trillion Build Back Better plan that may harm housing affordability.
According to the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB), Biden’s Build Back Better plan includes tax hikes of $2 trillion and aggressive energy efficiency requirements in model building energy codes that would harm housing affordability. The revisions to their plan also includes several other provisions of importance to the housing community.
