P.B.Bell Opens an Amenity-Rich Escape

The ultra-urban, resort-style community of Escape features 244 luxury apartment residences

P.B. Bell, a multifamily development, management and acquisition company based in Scottsdale, Ariz., recently opened its newest community Escape in Phoenix, Arizona. Escape features 244 luxury apartment homes in a resort-style setting featuring an urban, contemporary aesthetic.

The four-story, interior corridor community wraps around an expansive pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a resident lounge with views of the nearby mountains and a lush courtyard area. The community offers one and two-bedroom floor plans, as well as two-story loft layouts, ranging in size from 713 square feet to 1,252 square feet.

“With its contemporary look and feel, and its tranquil courtyard pool area, Escape truly is an escape,” said R. Chapin Bell, president of P.B. Bell. “We recognize that our residents are looking for certain amenities, a certain way of life. And, we’re constantly looking ahead to see how we can deliver innovative services, such as the Cox products, video conferencing capabilities in our business centers and interactive fitness equipment, to our residents.”

According to Bell, the company evaluated the community in which Escape was being built and analyzed the type of resident the project would attract before deciding what additional services this community could offer for its residents.

The community was designed with its surroundings, accessibility, and potential resident base in mind. Bell explained, “Young professionals are looking for a vibrant community with high-tech features and a fun, social scene, which Escape offers. Baby Boomers, looking for a lock and leave lifestyle, are interested in Escape’s conveniences, its proximity to shopping and dining, and its commitment to an exceptional resident experience.” Electric car charging stations and a bike service station were determined to be welcomed additions to the community given the demographic.

As part of a first-of-its-kind partnership between P.B. Bell and Cox Communications, Escape’s luxury units will give its residents access to Cox Gigablast Internet service of 1 Gig, which is up to 100 times faster than the average Internet service and the fastest residential Internet speed available in the state. In addition, Escape will be a technology leader in the local multifamily landscape by offering residents an option to have a Smart Home experience with Cox Homelife, which features home automation capabilities such as live video viewing and energy controls for temperature and lighting. “We strive to offer residents the latest tech amenities available and plan to pursue this type of partnership at more of our P.B. Bell communities,” said Bell.
