Standard Pacific Homes

California native homebuilder Standard Pacific Homes is buying as much location-driven land as possible to ensure a successful 2013. After spending more than half a billion dollars on land in 2012, the future is surely promising for this single-family focused developer.

“I am proud of our strong 2012 financial performance, which is proof of both the significant progress we’ve made executing our strategy and the lift we’ve experienced from the beginning of a real market recovery,” explained President and CEO of Standard Pacific, Steve Stowel.

Market recovery has been the main theme in the housing industry as numbers begin to climb. Standard Pacific saw a 60 percent increase in new orders, which is promising news since the company announced the recent acquisition of 75 home sites at Twin Creeks in Austin, Texas.

Dubbed The Reserve at Twin Creeks, Standard Pacific has already made plans to unveil 16 new home designs in spring of 2013.

“The Reserve at Twin Creeks will provide homebuilders with the opportunity to own a newly constructed and innovatively designed home in a highly desirable setting,” said Austin President John Bohnen of Standard Pacific. “Our floor plans incorporate flexible living spaces that allow families to personalize their homes and outdoor living areas that complement the fact that many of the home sites are adjacent to open green space.”

A master-planned community spanning over 760 acres, Standard Pacific will meet the mounting demands for new homes. This new community will reflect how a family interacts within a home through innovative design and architecture.

Besides positive housing market projections, Standard Pacific’s Chelsea model in the Peregrina neighborhood at WaterGrass recently won a merit award in its price range from Parade of Homes by the Tampa Bay Builders Association, as well as earning Builder of the Year at the Sales & Marketing Council of the Homebuilders Association of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Standard Pacific has also adopted green building techniques and projects to maximize client satisfaction. Building Energy-Star qualified single family homes in two neighborhoods, Glenbrook and Peregrina at WaterGrass, Standard Pacific has developed energy efficient homes that provide a healthier and higher quality of life for families inside and outside the home.

Future communities of Standard Pacific are projected to bring success and profit for the company, especially with the high demand of new homes and the attraction of eco-friendly design, construction, and product choice. Utilizing strategic land acquisitions and a commitment to integrity and customer satisfaction, Standard Pacific Homes will deliver family-oriented comfort by building innovatively designed homes.
