Tri Pointe Homes Austin Triumphs at the 2024 Parade of Homes™ With Seven Awards
Award-winning model homes showcase innovative design, premium craftsmanship, and standout features across two celebrated communities
AUSTIN, TEXAS – Tri Pointe Homes®, a recognized homebuilder serving the Texas market for 50 years under the brand name Trendmaker Homes®, has garnered seven awards for its participation at the 2024 Parade of Homes™, hosted by the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Greater Austin. Marking the event’s highly anticipated return after a six-year hiatus, this was the first time Tri Pointe Homes Austin participated in the Parade, showcasing four standout model homes across two communities: three homes in Lariat in Liberty Hill, Texas and one in Heritage in Dripping Springs, Texas.
Competing in the category of homes under 3,500 square feet, Tri Pointe Homes earned accolades including the coveted “Best in Show” award, solidifying its place among the region’s most distinguished builders. The event featured 16 total homes, with eight entries in Tri Pointe’s under 3,500-square-foot category. All homes were evaluated by a panel of secret judges who toured the models during the event’s opening weekend and submitted ballots to the HBA team.
“This year’s Parade of Homes was a meaningful milestone for Tri Pointe Homes and we were incredibly proud to see our work resonate with both industry professionals and future homeowners,” said Chelsea Timmons, Vice President of Community Experience at Tri Pointe Homes in Austin. “Being recognized across multiple categories, including ‘Best in Show,’ speaks to the caliber of our designs and our ability to meet the evolving needs of today’s homebuyers. As we continue to grow in the Austin region, we’re excited to offer homebuyers spaces that inspire and elevate their everyday lives.”
Tri Pointe Homes earned awards across several standout categories for homes under 3,500 square feet:
- Best in Show — Reimer model at Lariat
- Best Living Area — Linden model at Heritage
- Best Kitchen — Reimer model at Lariat
- Best Primary Suite — Linden model at Lariat
- Best Interior Design — Linden model at Heritage
- Best Holiday Décor — Reimer model at Lariat
- Best Specialty Room — Reimer model at Lariat (Game Room/Library)
At Lariat, the Reimer model features a distinctive design that seamlessly blends functionality with elegance. Its spacious great room and state-of-the-art kitchen provide the perfect environment for everyday living, while the upstairs Game Room/Library — complete with a full-wall library and custom ladder — brings a touch of luxury typically seen in standalone estate homes. Other highlights include a luxurious primary suite and a seamless indoor/outdoor connection through a covered patio. The Linden model features a primary suite on the main level that offers a spa-like retreat with a large shower and walk-in closet.
At Heritage in Dripping Springs, the Linden model features an open-concept kitchen and living space with seamless access to covered outdoor living, while a spiral staircase leads to the upstairs “kid zone,” which revolves around a spacious game room.
Tri Pointe’s participation in the Parade of Homes reflects its dedication to creating high-performance homes that are not only visually stunning but also designed with energy efficiency, environmental responsibility, and practical living in mind. The builder’s award-winning LivingSmart® program plays an integral role in every home’s design, incorporating cutting-edge features that promote healthy living and sustainability.
During the Parade of Homes, Tri Pointe further engaged with the community through unique activations, including a well-attended book signing and meet-and-greet with Emmy-winning design expert, TV host and author Bobby Berk, with whom the company has a national, multiyear, exclusive partnership – Bobby Berk x Tri Pointe Homes. Over the course of the event’s two weekends in December, the builder’s model homes welcomed more than 100 visitors, underscoring strong interest from interior design fans and prospective buyers.
Returning for the first time since 2018, the HBA of Greater Austin’s Parade of Homes was held in a scattered-site format across multiple locations. Featuring designs from seven premier builders, the event celebrated homebuilding excellence and attracted home enthusiasts, prospective buyers, and industry professionals.
