Tri Pointe Homes Kicks-off Construction on New Homes at Lariat

The homebuilder will offer three innovatively designed collections at the intersection of natural Hill Country charm and big city appeal

AUSTIN – Tri Pointe Homes (NYSE:TPH) announced that construction is underway on new homes at Lariat, a 688-acre planned community located in the northwest Austin submarket of Liberty Hill, Texas. The first builder to start construction in the community, Tri Pointe Homes will deliver 334 single-family residences across three collections.

The Terrace Collection will offer homes ranging from 1,616 to 2,607 square feet with three to four bedrooms and two to three bathrooms.

At 1,831 to 2,969 square feet, The Park Collection will include three to five bedrooms and two to three baths. Tri Pointe Homes’ third collection at Lariat, the Arbor Collection, will feature the company’s new product line and is anticipated to start construction later in the year. The Arbor Collection homes will range from approximately 1,903 to 2,903 square feet with three to five bedrooms and two to three baths. 

Upon completion, the entire Lariat planned community will consist of 1,692 single-family homes and a more than $4 million proposed resort-style amenity and activity center, including a pool, a large playscape and splash pad, a covered pavilion, pocket parks, fish-stocked ponds and a 7-mile trail system. Part of Liberty Hill’s highly rated school district, a future school will be built on a 12-acre site within the community. 

Located near Hwy. 29, Lariat will offer homeowners easy access to the charming restaurants and retail shops of Liberty Hill’s historic downtown and the Liberty Hill International Sculpture Park. Apple Inc.’s new billion-dollar campus is less than 30 minutes from Lariat, and Downtown Austin is less than 35 miles away.
