Tri Pointe Homes And M/I Homes to Build 586 New Homes in Heritage, a New West Austin Metro Community

The homebuilders’ community, Heritage, in Dripping Springs to offer a variety of design choices surrounded by highly desired amenities and natural charm

AUSTIN (March 22, 2022) – Tri Pointe Homes®, a recognized homebuilder serving the Texas market for 50 years under the brand name Trendmaker Homes®, and M/I Homes, a leading national homebuilder for 45 years, have begun construction at Heritage, a 188-acre community located 25 miles west of Austin in the heart of Dripping Springs. Tri Pointe will build 293 single-family homes across three collections, including the debut of a brand-new collection. M/I Homes will build a total of 293 single-family homes across three different series, including the launch of a new series. Heritage is a joint-venture development between Tri Pointe Homes and M/I Homes that will deliver a total of 586 homes starting in late 2022.

Tri Pointe Homes will build residences ranging from approximately 1,600 to 3,100 square feet with 3 to 5 bedrooms, 2 to 3 bathrooms and 2- to 3-bay garages. The Park Collection features open concept designs on 50’ homesites, while the Terrace Collection features spacious living and gourmet kitchen options on 40’ homesites. The all-new third collection is currently being designed and will debut at the community opening. As part of its LivingSmart® program committed to healthy and environmentally responsible building practices, all of Tri Pointe’s homes at Heritage will be designed and independently certified to exceed local energy codes, including Energy Star® certified. 

Offering a variety of new and existing popular architectural styles that complement the feel of Hill Country living, M/I Homes’ one and two-story residences will range from approximately 1,300 to 3,500 square feet. All Energy Star® certified as well, each home series will offer unique, open floor plans with plentiful structural offerings that allow each homeowner to customize layout, bedroom counts, game room additions and more. 

With more modern design throughout, the Capital Series comprises seven floor plans – four single-story and three two-story plans – and offers 2 to 3 bedrooms with select floor plans having the option for a fourth bedroom. The Signature Series is comprised of 14 floor plans which offer 3 to 5 bedrooms and game rooms in all the two-story home plans. Additionally, all of the Signature Series floor plans come with several structural options to truly customize your home. The third series is being designed and will make its debut at the community opening as well.
